Earlier this month a Weekly Wishlist post included A Separate Country by Robert Hicks (The Widow of the South) which will be released September 23, 2009. Thanks to Grand Central Publishing, I have 5 copies of the book to giveaway! All you have to do is leave a comment by August 31, 2009. The contest is limited to those in the US and Canada. There are two reasons I'm really excited about this book: I read and enjoyed the author's Widow of the South, and I remember finding John Bell Hood a very interesting general at time I was watching Ken Burns' Civil War documentary. Hope I win this novel.
