I noticed a couple of covers this morning on Amazon for upcoming US releases of books already released in the UK. Which one do you like better??
This is the US cover for Alison Weir's new book about Eleanor of Aquitaine. It will be released in the US on July 13th. The UK cover is below (released earlier this week). I think I like this one - you can see more of her face and the pose doesn't seem as awkward. Plus I like the more subdued colors.
The Kings Mistress by Emma Campion will be released in the US July 6, 2010. It was released in the UK last year (cover is below). I really like this one better as well - especially the addition of the background and the colors again are more subdued and look richer.
I like the US cover for Weir's book better as well. I didn't really like that orange-y looking coat she had on.

I like both of th US Issues i will have to look for these this summer thanks daphne for keep us up to date with these books.
BTW are you ready for The Tudors this weekend!

I am so ready for The Tudors! I watched the first episode on YouTube (last week I think) but the sound didn't quite keep up with the action so it will be nice to watch it on my nice, big HD TV!!
