It looks like Harper is putting out new UK paperback editions of Philippa Gregory's Tudor novels in March 2011. They look more like the covers for The White Queen and The Red Queen and at least they have heads!! The Constant Princess is included in the new editions, but no cover yet...
Cover for the UK paperback edition of Alison Weir's The Captive Queen (the US cover is pretty much like the hardback).
Also, a week or so ago I mentioned Alison Weir's upcoming non-fiction release about Mary Boleyn in October 2011. The book will have a slightly different title and cover for the US and UK markets.

US edition

Oooh, I love the cover of Weir's Mary Boleyn - I like them both!

I have all the PG Tudor books with the headless women on the covers. Lol.

I like PG's older covers better. I wonder how the MB nonfiction book is. hmmm

Instead of headless women we now have floating heads!!
If you look at Weir's website about the Mary Boleyn book she claims to have the answers to a whole variety of questions - I just wonder where she "found" the answers...

I think it is interesting the change in title for Weir's upcoming Mary Boleyn. Does anyone know the reasons for this? I was thinking the use of 'whore' in the US would be considered insensitive and people would take a personal affront. It's our puritanical roots showing again.

FurryReaders - I don't know why the titles are different although this won't be the first book where that is the case! You could be right though - it wouldn't surprise me if the reason was something like that!
