Feedback on Weekly Wishlist Feature
Thursday, March 3, 2011
When I started blogging over four years ago, it was mostly my way of keeping track of the books that I read and what I thought of them. Things have obviously expanded a bit since then and as much as I do it for myself, I also enjoy sharing my love of historical fiction with others. One of the things I enjoy most is discovering what new books are being released in the future and I"ve been posting those in my "Weekly Wishlist" feature for quite some time.
I've been giving some thought to the format that I've been using and whether I should make a few tweaks to it. I would love to know what you think and so I created a little form with a couple of questions to get some feedback. Basically I'm wondering if it would be better to do one listing (with several books) each week like I've been doing or if I should post books individually. The other question has to do with book covers. I often include books when I first hear about them and before a cover is available and then sometimes repost the book again once a cover is available. Is that overkill? Would posting it only once and with the cover be better or do you like knowing about it as soon as possible even without the cover?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
