My mailbox stayed fairly busy this month:
From the author/publisher:
Elizabeth I by Margaret George
The Second Duchess by Elizabeth Loupas
The Raven Queen by Jules Watson
Conquest by Stewart Binns
The Queen’s Rival by Diane Haeger
The Tudor Throne by Brandy Purdy
Rivals in the Tudor Court by D.L. Bogdan
From Paperback Swap
Blood Royal by Mollie Hardwick
Purchased (used):
The Morning Gift by Diana Norman. After hearing about Ms. Norman's death in late January, I decided to see if I could get a copy of this out of print book at a reasonable price. I lucked out and managed to find one for about $10 (including shipping). Although there are rumors that this may be republished in the next year or so, I decided not to take a chance.

"Elizabeth I" by Margaret George...am SO waiting for a review from 'ordinary people' on this book. Did not care for her novel about Helen of Troy, and have to admit to now being a bit gun-shy. Loved "Auto of Hal" "M,QoS", and "Cleo", however.
"Blood Royal"...finally Anne and Mary's mother is a major player in a novel about the family. I first read this eons ago and liked it so much it was one of the first books ever purchased in hardback! Wish it would come out officially, as so many of Margaret C Brown and Plaidy's have done.
This month of February I am truly envious of your mailbox! Watch out...come the end of tax season and I'll be a reading fool...and with SO many out there to select!

I'm so jealous of your from the publisher list. The Second Duchess, The Raven Queen and the Queen's Rival. LUCKY! How do you do it? I'd die for that kind of luck!

I so want to read Elizabeth I. Can't wait to hear what you think!
The Second Duchess and The Queen’s Rival sounds good.

Tracey - I didn't care for George's Helen of Troy either. But I liked Cleo and Henry 8, so hopefully Helen was just a fluke... Glad to hear you enjoyed Blood Royal - I'm looking forward to reading it at some point.
Alison - I don't really know!! Sometimes they just show up, but usually I get contacted by someone asking if I'm interested. There are so many good books coming out that it's hard to say no...
Elysium - I'm looking forward to Elizabeth I as well. I'm participating in a blog tour in May for it which should be fun. I'm reading The Queen's Rival now - it's nice to see a book about Bessie Blount - it's a fun, light read.
