A few weeks ago I posted a cover for US edition of Lady of the English by Elizabeth Chadwick. Apparently, the author wasn't very happy with that cover and convinced them to change it. Here is the new one:
I must say, I like the red! Lady of the English will be released in the US on September 1, 2011.
Ooooh I may just have to hang on til September and purchase this one! I like it much better than the one they previously had...but I really like the UK cover too! I just need to get my hands on this no matter what cover it has! I need a Chadwick fix :)

It is better than the previous US cover, although I think the color of the UK cover is stunning!
Amy's right -- any cover will do...just get us another Chadwick book!

You know, I like this cover better than the last US version for the subject matter. It feels more regal. But I think that the previous US cover would have caught my eye more on the shelf because it is a little different.

I also like this cover better than the original, although I still prefer the colours of the UK version (which should arrive in my mailbox soon).

For me the think that is eyecatching about the UK cover is the colour scheme. I am happier with this for the US cover though.
