My husband laughed at me when I took a picture of the sign for the tower built by William Marshall. Thankfully he's not jealous of a guy who's been dead nearly 800 years!
We really loved Wales (it is really beautiful) - wish we could have gone on our last trip, but there just wasn't enough time. When I mentioned the HNS conference was in London next year he said maybe we could go then - if so, hopefully we can fit a few days to Wales in.
I love history and historical fiction, mostly books set in England through Elizabeth I as well as those set in Medieval and Renaissance Europe and the American, French and Russian Revolutions.

Oh wow, that is so cool Daphne! That must have been really neat to be where William Marshall once stood, thanks for posting!

Lovely pictures, Daphne. I'd love to visit Chepstow one day, especially since it's connected to William Marshall.
