After 10 history filled days in Paris and London, I finally made it home last night and I was exhausted. I had been up for about 23 hours and fell asleep on the couch (which is something I almost never do) about 8:00. Ten hours of sleep can do wonders...
This week is the big move. The movers will be here Wednesday and Thursday and Friday we fly to Charlotte to wait for our stuff to be delivered to our new place there. I'll go to DC in early August. Things may be a little quiet around here as we move the castle 1600 miles (give or take a few) and get settled. I took over 1000 pictures on my trip and will be posting them over the coming weeks on my travel blog. Once I finish up last fall's UK trip that is (but I only a have a few more posts for that)...
I do have a few guests posts and giveaways over the next few weeks, so stay tuned !

Good luck with "moving the castle" -- glad you arrived home safely from your travels abroad. (Those of us who can't go will live through your pictures! I'm sure you experienced awesome historical and architectural sights.)

Welcome home and glad you had a safe return! Best of luck now with the big move...btw...are you moving to Charlotte NC? Cause we'll be neighbors...I'm in Raleigh and come ot Charlotte once a month to visit my family. I'm looking forward to going through all of the pictures I took and putting the posts together - I always learn so much about the places we visited.
Roberta - my husband accepted a transfer with his company to Charlotte NC. I'll be there for a few weeks until I get things unpacked there and then I"ll be going to DC for my new job. I'll be making frequent trips to Charlotte though - it will be easier for me to go down there since hubby will have the dog with him. Thanks for the offer of help - we may just need to take you up on that!
