This week's pictures are from Leeds Castle
Ruins of the barbican built by Edward I
The grounds of the castle are so pretty and peaceful.
The banqueting hall contains a huge 16th century fireplace, a beautifully ornate ceiling and a number of paintings of British monarchs.

I have this strange obsession with taking pictures of doorways and windows in ruins! I am glad you have a similar fondness for those types of photos, too, based on your first picture :-)
I was looking over really old posts from my blog, and I saw that you were really one of my first and most prolific commenters- I just wanted to say thank you! So many people have left blogosphere from the earlier days, and I'm glad that you're still here!

Aarti - I have a huge number of pictures of doors, windows and archways from our travels. I took a ton of door pictures in Paris - they were all so unique!
I haven't been blogging or commenting as much as I used too. Life has gotten in the way recently and it's been hard to get my groove back :(. I"m glad you are still around too!!
Kailana - Thanks! Hope all has been going well with you!
