In honor of the Olympics, here are some totally random shots of London:
I don't remember where this is - I walked by it on my way to the Tube station one morning and thought the old buildings were really cool.
The Royal College of Music. This sits behind the Royal Albert Hall and was on the route I took from Kensington Gardens to the V&A Museum. There a graduation ceremony that afternoon and I ended up taking pictures for a few students/parents in front of the statue of Prince Albert that's across the street (with the hall in the background). The building was constructed in the mid 1890s.
Down the street from the V&A is this beautiful building. I had no idea what it was as I walked by - turns out it is the Natural History Museum ( and like the V&A, it's free). The building was constructed in the late 1870s specifically to house the museum. I would have loved to go inside and check out the interior of the building, but, there just wasn't enough time. Maybe next trip...

Thanks for sharing these! My aunt has gone there several times and she gave all her photos to me, I love at least being able to visit London via the photos! :)

I would love to have a month or so just to wander around London. The whole of Great Britain - a year!!
